Open Mon. - Sat.: 10:00 a.m. � 5:00 p.m. Closed on holidays and Sundays.
Admission to the genealogy library is free and open o the public, however a $2.00 donation is suggested per adult.
The Mission of the Bedford City / County Museum is to develop and maintain files for genealogical and historical research and to collect, preserve and interpret objects of historical significance to the City of Bedford and Bedford County, Virginia.
Trained volunteers will research for out-of-town persons for $20.00/hour plus $0.50 per page for copies (this is the museum's cost for copies at the courthouse). Certified copies of court records are $3.00 per document. The money for research goes to the operating of the museum.
